Thank you for attending the AVCJ Philippines Forum 2016

The 2nd Annual AVCJ Philippines Forum brought over 150 of Asia's leading PE professionals and leading business executives on September 14th for a day of thought provoking discussions about how the market is evolving and what the industry must do to continue to attract investors, deliver returns and help Indonesian businesses grow. Attendees came from around the region and we heard from 30 of the most experienced and well-respected players in Philippines's burgeoning market, as well as leading outside investors, start up and corporate executives and noted economists.

The forum was opened by a keynote address by one of the leading Asian economists, David Carbon, Chief Economist with DBS Bank. This was followed by an insightful panel session on the progress for private investment in Philippines as well as a robust discussion on the state of the capital markets.

Throughout the day, the forum featured an analysis on the infrastructure potential in the country, the level of M&A and cross-border activity, how to navigate the consumer growth story and the interactive session on how private equity and venture capital add value to their portfolio companies.

The forum was closed by the money panel, the international investor view on Philippines as an investment destination.

"The conference was well attended which shows the interest in the Philippines' PE but also the profile of AVCJ attracting large pool of audience."
Markus Ableitinger, PYRAMID PRIVATE EQUITY PARTNERS

"Congratulations to AVCJ for a successful, well-attended inaugural Philippines conference, and congratulations to the Philippines' PE/VC industry for graduating to a stage where AVCJ sees fit to host a Philippines-dedicated forum. The construction of the programs / sessions was just right, and AVCJ picked a superb MC in Dennis Montecillo. In general, the composition of the panels was excellent. The interview format for the keynote was innovative and refreshing."
Gerald Baldivia, ANGEON ADVISORS

"The panel members were generous in sharing their experience and were useful to me. It was also a great venue for networking with the other attendees and to know what and where they are investing."
